Why We Are Stewards: Our motivation for being stewards for our park is to restore the park prior to the invasives and make Rustic Hills more enjoyable!

Stewardship Goals
Invasive species removal- remove buckthorn and honeysuckle, with a goal to create views of the marsh from the ballfield and trail
Seed sowing- place native seed mix in restoration areas where buckthorn was previously removed
Trail monitoring and improvement- monitor trails and temporarily restore eroded trail sections by filling depressions and diverting water more into the marsh
