Why I’m a Steward: As a PTO member at Forest Hills Elementary, I enjoy making the surrounding parkland fun and educational for the students to enjoy.

Spring
Monarch Waystation garden- prepare and mulch garden, install monarch-friendly plants for butterfly garden
Summer
Trail improvement- improve current nature trail with reinforced borders and new mulch
Fall
Buckthorn removal- continue work started by city crew to remove buckthorn in park
Trail extension- alongside buckthorn removal, flagging and clearing to extend existing trail
Winter
Buckthorn removal- continue work started by city crew to remove buckthorn in park
Educational enhancements- improve and add educational materials for the park
