The mission of Friends of Eden Prairie Parks is to assist the city of Eden Prairie to improve and maintain the biodiversity and enhance the ecosystems within our natural spaces, including parks, preserves, and conservation areas.
We Need You!
Volunteers are vital to achieving our mission and vision. Consider the following ways you can be involved with Friends of Eden Prairie Parks:
Our Approach
FEPP’s approach to land stewardship is park-based and driven via distributed, adaptive citizen leaders. We call this model the Park Steward Program, which anchors FEPP’s ecological work, volunteer engagement, and partnerships at the park level.
Park Steward Program
Park Stewards serve as trained volunteer leaders for specific parks or natural areas. They help translate City restoration priorities into on-the-ground action by coordinating events, guiding volunteers, maintaining continuity across seasons, and tracking progress over time. This structure allows FEPP to create sustained, measurable impact over time in our parks and conservation areas.

Eden Prairie Parks
Eden Prairie is home to almost 2,500 acres of protected natural space and almost half of the City is green space. Through hands-on, year-round restoration, we improve park biodiversity while enhancing the natural beauty of these shared spaces.
