Meet your Park Stewards
Current stewardship efforts are being done by residents of the Chimney Pines HOA at Spyglass Drive. Neighbors are advancing restoration work by removing invasive species (buckthorn) and establishing native plantings to increase native plant diversity in areas of this Conservation Area adjacent to HOA properties.

Spring
Garlic mustard- remove garlic mustard from previous buckthorn removal sites
Monitoring – monitor garlic mustard & buckthorn seedling growth, meandering plant survey
Planting- native plants in areas cleared of buckthron
Fall-Winter
Woody invasive species removal- cut and remove buckthorn and honeysuckle along hillside
Planting- native plants and create a rain garden area at bottom of hill
