Invasive Species Removal

Meet across from the house at 17256 Tilia Ridge. Bring yourself and your favorite buckthorn busting tool (sorry, chainsaws are not allowed). Electric pruning shears and reciprocating saws are permitted. A limited amount of pruning saws and loppers will be available to borrow. Buckthorn daubers will be provided to treat the cut stumps. A brief review on how to identify buckthorn and instructions for cutting or pulling will be provided. We will walk to the buckthorn location and will be working off-trail. Please wear sturdy shoes and long pants. Work/garden gloves, water, bug spray, sunscreen and eyeglasses are recommended.
