Garlic Mustard Pull – Neill Lake
May 10 @ 10:00 am – 12:00 pm
Join FEPP and The Preserve Association pulling garlic mustard in the woods around Neill Lake. We will meet at The Preserve Association parking lot and walk 0.2 miles to the site on a paved trail. We will fill our bags with any invasive garlic mustard spotted. No herbicide application required. Just bring yourself and gardening gloves, and your favorite garden weeding tool. Extra tools and gloves will be available to borrow. A kneeling pad is optional. Please wear sturdy shoes and long pants since the area will be muddy. All volunteers are required to sign a Volunteer Waiver. This event is open to all ages.
For more information on garlic mustard and why it is invasive, visit our info page: https://friendsofepparks.org/garlic-mustard-2/
Note: There will be a private event at the barn; additional parking is available along the street on Center Way and at Nesbitt Park.
